The Cube Computer Plexi. This system has a look you would never expect from a computer. It was built at Hopewell High School back in Spring, 2006. It started out as a little Pentium III system with a Compaq Mobo and Power Supply with Windows 98. Later on that summer, it had XP Pro installed. Still had the same hardware, but it was a performer for its type. It had a 20GB Maxtor Hard Drive, 380MB of SDRAM, A DVD ROM Drive and a 42x CD burner. It was set up on a wireless network. By December, it was upgraded to SATA! It then had a Western Digital Caviar SE 160GB Hard Drive. By that time, it also had a graphics card as well. By March, it was time to upgrade the Plexi. The Compaq "junk" was stripped off and replaced with a Coolmax V-400 400 watt PSU and an Asus Motherboard with a 1.7GHz Pentium 4. By May, it was time to upgrade the entire system!
